I found out the other day one of my poems was accepted for publication in an anthology I’d submitted to back in March.
I’m super excited about it. This is a poem I absolutely love and I’ve been trying to find a home for quite some time.
However, I’m hesitant to share details until I have confirmation of publication because I received the acceptance a month and a half ago, but I’ve been so busy with our new homeschool year that I hadn’t seen it in my email.
So, now I’m afraid my poem could have been pulled because of my delayed response. [The editor requested a response as to whether the poem has been previously published.]
We shall see.
I do hope that isn’t the case, but if it turns out that way it’s my own fault for not keeping up with my submissions.
